Last month, the entire LEVS team boarded the bus for our annual project and construction site excursion. A day where sharing knowledge and project updates go hand in hand with what we ultimately care about most deeply: enjoying architecture together.

The route took us past several projects that we are proudly working on.

Scheveningen – De Zuid

On this sunny day, we first visited the sea. With ZuidKade, the harbour side of De Zuid in Scheveningen is now largely completed, after ZuidHaven was previously delivered. The redesign of the quay is the only thing left on the agenda.

The Hague – The Blox

In the Hague's Binckhorst, The Blox is slowly coming together, a residential tower nearly 130 meters high. Although the construction currently only has seven floors, the first prefab facade elements will soon be installed – an important next step in the realisation.

Eindhoven – De Caai

On the Campina site in Eindhoven, the two ensembles of De Caai are now clearly outlined. The towers are approaching their full height, and the silhouette of the neighbourhood is steadily gaining visibility.

Eindhoven – Groot Hartje

Near the PSV stadium and the railway, Groot Hartje makes an impression with the high urban density achieved here. At the same time, the location surprises with an intimate little park at the corner, where an impressive plane tree provides peace and shade.

Eindhoven – ROOT

The excursion ended at ROOT, tucked away behind the greenery in the Mensfort neighborhood. The spacious inner garden provided a beautiful setting to conclude the day together and take a group photo.

After a full day of building, observing, and experiencing, we wrapped up back in Amsterdam with a communal meal. Because besides designing and realizing buildings, coming together and sharing experiences is at least as important.
