With a team of about 45 colleagues, we work in our office on Cruquiuseiland in Amsterdam - an inspiring place where the surroundings are developing every day. In our relaxed working environment, we help each other, work together, and make sure we enjoy what we do every day.

Whether we are working on a wooden residential tower, an area transformation, or the renovation of a national monument: as a full-service agency, LEVS is involved from start to finish. From the first vision to the construction drawing that the contractor gets to work with: you translate that ambition into reality. 

Our projects call for people who look beyond their own discipline. Architecture, urban planning, and engineering come together in one data-driven approach. That requires broad expertise within the team in the areas of sustainable area development, livable residential environments, and the complex layering of programs. LEVS works on integrated solutions in all these fields.

How we work

At LEVS, we design buildings with lasting impact - for the people who live in them, for the client who realizes them, and for the city. We call ourselves realistic idealists. High ambitions, but always with both feet on the ground.

To make our ambitions a reality, we make sure our organization supports you well. You get opportunities to grow, clear process responsibility, and the chance to make it happen. We take operational burdens off your hands, so you can fully focus on what you do best. 

In addition to standard software, we work with an integrated digital design chain, from parametric design to BIM and execution. With Rhino/Grasshopper, Archicad, and data exchange via Speckle, we actively steer on quality, CO₂, and buildability. Solibri and Dalux connect this directly to construction practice. Our own IT team provides direct support and ensures that all software is always up to date and continuously supported.

Collaboration

At LEVS, you never work alone. You are not an executor of other people’s ideas, but a full-fledged discussion partner from the first sketch to the final detail drawing. Outside the office, too, we work a lot with clients, builders, and through participation processes with the people who will live in our buildings. Because the best result comes when everyone, from bricklayer to resident, understands the idea behind the project.

As an experienced architect or technical designer, you are not looking for a job to tick off tasks. You want to be challenged - in terms of process and content. We understand that. At LEVS, you get projects with real complexity, responsibility with mandate, and the opportunity to look beyond your own project. Do you see a chance that could make the agency stronger? LEVS is not an agency where you need to impress with big words or long evenings. Here, you impress with your work, your knowledge, and your commitment. We take care of the rest with a good lunch, an atmosphere committee, and unexpected excursions where you bond with your colleagues.
