Commissioned by Portaal and AM, we are designing 210 social rental homes in Utrecht Lunetten. The development agreement was signed during the PROVADA real estate fair. BAM is delivering the project.
Portaal’s office plot, close to the station and shopping center in Lunetten, is making way for new construction with a green character and a 1,000 m² ground-floor plinth for amenities. A currently paved location in a well-connected part of the city will thus become a pleasant, affordable place to live. Much needed for the growing group of people looking for housing in Utrecht. After the zoning process, we have started on the design.
The expectation is that the office will be demolished in 2028 and construction will start at the end of that year.
