Reinoud van der Zijde

Reinoud returned to the Netherlands from Sweden in 2021 to join LEVS as a senior architect. Now, looking at Dutch architecture with fresh eyes, at LEVS he is eager to further explore his fascination for the city and people.

Since graduating from Delft University of Technology, Reinoud has worked at various renowned architectural firms on award-winning projects, at home and abroad. He is very familiar with working on complex assignments and is enthusiastic about creating integral design solutions. He admires minimalistic architecture with an attention to detail, and finds it important that architecture is contextual and focused on the users’ needs.

Reinoud is a strong conceptual thinker, and is driven to work out a concept in detail. He is curious and approaches assignments, partners and contexts with an open mind. More recently, Reinoud is exploring avenues to build with timber in order to mitigate the climate crisis. He is looking forward to working with the LEVS team to realize high-profile projects that provide answers to the issues of our time.
