The winning plan for Wisselspoor III, designed by LEVS on behalf of VORM, is now being developed. The project is the final piece of the broader area transformation of the former Utrecht railway workshop. In this robust, industrial location, 512 homes will be built in various typologies: from social rental and affordable ownership to compact city apartments and family homes with gardens.
LEVS plays a design and coordinating role here. Raumplan and Studio Pallesh contribute to the architectural design. We will complete the preliminary design of the ground-level homes before Christmas.
The low-car concept creates space for green, climate-adaptive streets and inner gardens. A neighborhood for all generations, raw in its origin but warm and diverse in everyday life.
