The brain, heart and lungs of an urban peninsula

How to transform an empty peninsula into a vibrant new neighbourhood? We have finished our masterplan for a new urban centre on the southern end of the city of Ufa. It fits an ambitious mixed programme on a compact headland with green banks and generous views towards the Ural mountains. Our main goal has been to create urban intimacy and human scale, with high density, in a green and comfortable environment.
