Vote for Scheepmakerskwartier in Haarlem

The jury of the Lieven de Key Penning 2019 award has nominated LEVS architecten for the Scheepmakerskwartier project. Our project with apartments and single-family homes at the river Spaarne was finished in early summer and gives Haarlem a new but familiar maritime cityscape. It connects the old values of the city with new architecture. Inside, the houses have been worked out with many layout options. Voids connect the floors and provide views, daylight and spaciousness. The Lieven de Key Penning is awarded annually by the municipality of Haarlem to a person or organization that has done creditable work in the field of monument conservation, architecture or urban planning.
