Minister Mona Keijzer has officially inaugurated the construction work on HIGH5 in Schalkwijk, Haarlem!
Together with our clients Arnout Vos (Hoorne Vastgoed) and Martijn Van De Poll (HBB Groep), alderman Floor Roduner, and project partners, we celebrated the festive start of this remarkable project.
With 569 apartments across various segments, as well as commercial and social spaces, HIGH5 will become a vibrant and diverse part of Schalkwijk.
The Schalkstad shopping area is transforming from a single-purpose retail zone into a dynamic space where living, working, and leisure come together. HIGH5 plays a key role in this transformation: an impressive urban and architectural design that revitalizes the southern strip of the area.
The plan includes five buildings – two residential blocks and three towers – forming an intimate inner courtyard and bordering a new city square. The vibrant ground floors will house commercial and social facilities. Thanks to the stepped design of the residential towers and the surrounding green residential streets, a pleasant living environment is created.
Parking facilities are smartly integrated, allowing for more green spaces and meeting areas above ground. With sustainable energy solutions and a design that anticipates a future with reduced car dependency, HIGH5 is set to become a resilient and future-proof urban residential area.
We look forward to the further realization of this project!
