BIM

At LEVS, we apply Building Information Modeling (BIM) comprehensively, from mini-BIM to full-service solutions, for projects of any scale and complexity. Using ArchiCAD, we create models that directly deliver valuable data, such as surface areas, housing typologies, and feasibility studies. Thanks to Solibri, we ensure quality and check models at every stage. Tools like BIMX, Enscape, and virtual reality make our designs both visual and tangible, enabling clients, consultants, and users to experience and understand the design.

Collaboration is key. Through IFC models, we exchange detailed information with consultants, builders, and suppliers. This ensures a flawless process, from construction and fire safety to detailed prefab components. During construction, we use augmented reality to check live whether everything is in the right place, preventing errors and delays. Work preparation and production are managed directly from the model, saving time and costs.

Even after delivery, the BIM model remains valuable. Our as-built models and building passports facilitate straightforward management and enable circular construction by mapping materials and components. With our expertise across the full spectrum of BIM, from small-scale to large-scale, we seamlessly connect design, construction, and management.

Parametric Design

Parametric design transforms our design process fundamentally. It accelerates the iterative process and allows us to quickly and accurately explore various design variants. We develop our own parametric models, tailored to specific design challenges. These custom tools provide the flexibility to realize complex forms and structures that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. Parametric design is applicable at every stage, from urban planning to detailed design.

Carbon Cost Tracker

LEVS developed the Carbon Cost Tracker (CCT) to conduct advanced CO₂ studies. With the CCT, we can quickly evaluate how design choices affect material-based CO₂ emissions. This gives us direct insight into the most sustainable and cost-efficient solutions.

We use the CCT in the early phases of projects to conduct feasibility studies and achieve CO₂ targets. Our partners and clients can also experiment with an online demo of the CCT to discover how CO₂ management can improve their projects.

Sun, Wind and Noise

During the design process, we conduct sun and wind studies to create comfortable spaces in and around buildings. These studies help us avoid shadows, reduce wind disturbance, and enhance user comfort.
