Sebastiaan van Heusden

Sebastiaan obtained his Bachelor of Architecture at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences in 2015 and his Master of Architecture at the Amsterdam Academy of Architecture in 2022. He then worked for ten years at M3H Architecten on various completed projects before starting at LEVS. In his work, Sebastiaan seeks architecture that arises from place, climate, and building culture. He sees sustainability as an intrinsic quality: locally appropriate materials and a rational design that can withstand time and use, where technical and ecological performance enhance the design rather than limit it.
