It took some time, but construction work on project Havendreef, in the heart of Heemsteede, has started: a bright little tower, with two apartments on every floor, and luxurious residential homes. Boats can be parked on your doorstep, and from a cafe below the tower the entire neighbour-hood can enjoy this newly formed urban peace by the water. The plan transforms an old indus-trial site into an attractive living environment.
