Golden glint at Vechtlocatie in Utrecht

Our third plan at the Van Heukelompark is finished. The project Vechtlocatie with 31 apartments, 26 ground-level, partly energy-neutral homes and 3 ‘below/above’ starter homes appeals to a joint target group of young and old alike. Almost all houses are oriented towards the river or to the park and the new flower garden, still to be realized. Through the power of one type of brick, the building ensemble stands on the banks of the river Vecht like a monolith. A rich palette of brickwork variation - horizontal, vertical, reclining, protruding and round - subtly indicates the transitions between the houses. The round façade follows the structure of the greenery of the Van Heukelompark. So it's time for a picture gallery! Check out the project here.
