Construction site update: The Harbour Club Amsterdam
16 December 2020
Less than a year after construction began, the shell is complete and the highest point has been reached. The soundproof 'box-in-box' construction of the new banqueting space is clearly visible, and construction of the apartments above is in full swing. On the construction site, the real-time possibilities offered by BIM are already being fully utilized. Such as checking the placement of structural elements on a smartphone. In addition, the three old wine silos have been thoroughly cleaned so that the steel structure can now be assembled, these will be put on the roof in April. The silos will house some very special homes. Towards the end, the roof of the restaurant (2400 m²) will be covered with moss sedum, for water storage, soundproofing and a green view towards the harbor.
