Urban Masterplan in Ufa, Russia

Our master plan for the southern peninsula of the Russian city of Ufa fits an ambitious urban residential programme on a compact headland with green banks and generous views towards Siberia. A central axis with alternating low and high-rise buildings creates an intimate urban atmosphere, ending in a spacious public square by the water. The towers offer spectacular living and create a recognisable new skyline along the southern perimeter of the city. The beautiful public riverbanks are an oasis of peace and leisure, where residents and visitors can walk, cycle and play. The building blocks open up towards the banks with inner gardens that offer views over the water towards the city centre and the surrounding nature.
